My biggest impact as a college graduate is in my community. I have been working for the Center for Domestic Peace for more than 10 years. I have helped hundreds of survivors of domestic violence navigate legal systems, through empowerment, advocacy and education. My team and I continuously assist in program development to identify system gaps affecting our clients and their families. My passion is truly a motivation for those in our community who at times feel like there are no opportunities for them. I also help lead an award-winning group of activists, “Voces De Cambio” that bring awareness to the crime of domestic violence. My goal is to eradicate domestic violence in my community and beyond.
